WATCH RECORDING HERE
On November 13, 2025, unionized Starbucks workers went on strike to protest alleged unfair labor practices by their employer. The ongoing strike is the longest in Company history and is poised to spread further still. In the nearly four years since the first successful election by Starbucks Workers United, over 10,000 workers at hundreds of stores across the U.S. have voted to unionize, yet a collective bargaining agreement has still not been reached. Meanwhile, Starbucks has been subject to the most charges of U.S. labor law violations in history.
There is increasing focus among investors on human capital management issues, including workers’ freedom of association and collective bargaining rights. A company’s ability to establish and maintain constructive relationships with workers is important for a sound, sustainable and profitable long-term strategy. Labor disputes can pose legal, operational and reputational risks for companies that can have a detrimental impact on shareholder value.
Please join us for a webinar that will give employee, investor and economist perspectives on the largest U.S. labor dispute in recent memory.
